jon puliatano — hair director for the next big things

Jon Pulitano of headcase hair collaborated with this year’s hottest young designers to create some of the most talk about hair at RAFW 2009.

Friedrich Gray:

“the look was strong, dark and moody, morphing from a sexy futuristic look and culminating in an android style of beauty”

Antipodium:

“Inspiration was totally tarot, psy-chic and 90’s rave. The look was all about taking the long haired tarot card reader and giving her a sexy 90’s edge. It was raw, funky and on brand, which is all about taking it to the extreme.”

Konstantina Mittas:

“The hair was Grace Jones inspired, simultaneously strong, detailed, feminine and almost futuristically tribal. Angular and textured, the square shape complimented the avant garde feel of the collection...”
